Personally, I beloved this film! I assume my college students discovered it boring and never as thrilling as a number of the different movies we watched. Part of what makes it seem ‘boring’ to some is the lack of sound in space, however that is GOOD science!!!
Each yr, in October, we have fun Columbus Day within the United States. What are we celebrating? Not the discoverer of America, that’s for certain! We principally celebrate a lie and use it as an excuse to teach kids at school that Columbus discovered America and a spherical Earth. Sigh.
